Is $2,600 to install a new shower door, fixed panel, and knee wall panel a fair price?

I'm looking for advice on upgrading my master bathroom shower. My house is already very updated, and this is the last room that needs work. I have an inspiration picture from Pinterest. The construction cost to remove the existing wall is already factored into the contractor's budget. My current shower is coming out, and I never imagined cutting the fiberglass. The two large windows over the tub prevent a large walk-in shower. I'm concerned about over-improving the house, but I also believe it's important to love my space.
