Is $42,600 to build a 16' x 22' elevated trex deck and remove existing deck a fair price?
Project Details
I was expecting roughly $15-20k for a new deck based on a quote from last year, but this one came in at double. I'm looking at the lowest level Trex. The deck needs 2x12 joists to span 15.5ft and includes a picture frame border. I wanted to give this contractor a chance because I knew him in high school and he has done work for a local resort.
