Is $999 to build a ramp a fair price?
Project Details
I am heavy set and was having trouble with the stairs, so I wanted a ramp. My budget was tight, so it couldn't be ADA steepness. The contractor mocked up a few different slopes, and I thought I could handle this one. I'm wondering if this ramp will hold a hot tub (or 2 people, I'd guess 800lbs total). Final railings are probably next year when I have the budget. There are gates across the stairs now, and the post was in progress.
