Is $35,000 to replace the entire first floor with high-end engineered hardwood a fair price?

Project Details

I have continuous flooring on the first floor and recently had a slab leak in the kitchen. The floors were installed in 2011 and are higher end quality with 4 mm veneer and 7 inch wide planks. During the drying phase, they ripped off the flooring in the kitchen. I am at a crossroads between a full replacement or a spot repair.
