Is $1,000 to perform an additional day of floor sanding a fair price?
Project Details
I am getting my floor redone. I have no idea how old the wood is, but the house was built in the 1890s. The contractor sanded the floor down, but he says there are some lines that he's afraid are going to show up in the finished product. He sent me these photos. He says he's never seen anything like it. He thinks he can take them out if he sands down even more, but he says he's sanded down quite a bit already. I'm not sure what to do.
