My floors are original to the house built in 2001. They make sticky sounds when walked on, likely due to glue, and some boards are loose. The representative mentioned I have engineered hardwood and that its removal would cost around $2k. I have three young children, which makes a DIY project difficult due to time constraints for trips to the store.
