Is $1,850 to sand and seal original wooden floor a fair price?

My house is very cold in the winter and loses heat quickly. I'm wondering if the LVT option would make much of a difference in terms of retaining heat. There is a void under the floor which is probably where the heat loss is mainly coming from, but it's too expensive to rip up and insulate.
