Is $2,500 to replace damaged wood floor area with new wood a fair price?

Project Details

My dog peed on the rug while I was away and the floor underneath is damaged. The worst of it is the trim along the fireplace. I am wondering if the trim piece should be replaced and the rest sanded and refinished.
