Is $1,500 to refinish 100 sq ft hardwood floor (minimum price) a fair price?

I have a 100 SQ ft room where I'm trying to get the hardwood floor refinished. I'm having a difficult time finding someone with the availability, and have so far heard back with minimum pricing of $1500 and $2000. I did hear back from one company that was in the $700 range but they have since ghosted me. I am asking if these minimum prices sense reasonable or should I hold out?
