Is $20,000 to install 4 piers to stabilize a fireplace chimney a fair price?

Project Details

My fireplace chimney has moved an inch or two from the house. There is very slight bowing on that same wall and slight cracking around windows. I rebuilt the chimney 15 years ago due to settling from tree roots, but a structural engineer recently couldn't find a specific reason for the current movement, though soil issues are suspected.
