Is $765 to clean a blower wheel a fair price?

I just had my fall inspection, and the technician recommended having my blower wheel cleaned. I didn't have them do it because I was asking if it looked like it needed to be done, and the price of $765 seems extremely high. I'm wondering why so much dust would build up after less than a year on an eight-year-old system, especially since the system uses a 4-inch filter that gets dirty after about three months. I'm now looking for someone who charges a more reasonable price.
