Is $1,300 to repair existing boiler issues a fair price?

I am having issues with my boiler, which is approximately 56 years old. The pressure relief valve is leaking due to increased pressure, and the drain is not working. I've had it maintained almost yearly for the 10 years I've lived in the house. I'm looking for advice on whether to repair it or replace it, as a technician suggested that putting $1300 into such an old unit might not be worth it. I would like to keep it going as long as possible, ideally for another 5-10 years, if the repairs are sufficient.
