Is $0 to refill AC refrigerant after leak caused by technician a fair price?

Project Details

I had an HVAC technician come for a routine check-up on my AC unit. While I wasn't watching, he apparently attached something to tubes in the condenser, causing a significant amount of R-22 refrigerant to escape. He did this multiple times. He also charged me $50 cash separately for a capacitor, claiming it was a favor because the company price was $350. After he left, my AC stopped cooling properly, with the thermostat reading 79 degrees and only blowing slightly cool air. I called the company back, and a senior technician came out. He confirmed that over 2 lbs of R-22 had been lost. He refilled/mixed the refrigerant with what I believe was RS-44B (or possibly R-44C). The company waived the standard $800 cost for this service because of the issues caused by their previous technician, who the senior tech indicated was not certified to work with Freon and had previous complaints. I am concerned about the long-term effects of mixing R-22 with an alternative refrigerant, as I've heard this can damage the system. The company was somewhat vague about the paperwork for the second visit, although I did eventually get an invoice that incorrectly stated R-22 was used for the refill. The unit seems to be working fine now, but I'm unsure what "true capacity" means and if the system is now compromised.
