Is $6,000 to extend the roofline via a gable ladder extension a fair price?

Project Details

I am planning to install EWI to the front and gable end of my 1880s cottage. The gable end faces north and the house is uncomfortable during the winter months and even with a dehumidifier running with have problems with condensation and mold. My existing roofline overhangs the wall by 60 to 80mm.
