add blown fiberglass insulation to garage ceiling

Is $1,000 to add blown fiberglass insulation to garage ceiling a fair price?

Project Details

I bought a new construction house from a national builder in 2024. The two bedrooms above the garage are really cold in the winter, and the floors feel cold. I got two estimates from insulation companies to address this issue. Based on a video I took during construction, the garage walls seem to have insulation. I am looking for advice on the pros and cons of each evaluation and which would be most effective for temperature regulation year-round. I am also open to other alternatives, such as adding foam board to the knee walls with blown-in insulation. We have an unfinished basement, not a crawlspace.
