Is $5,830 to install insulation, air seal attic, and improve ventilation a fair price?
Project Details
Of our two attic spaces, one has little to no insulation and it isn’t sealed very well. The closet where the access door is located is always very warm on warmer days, and our house seems to stay relatively cool without constantly needing to run the AC. One of our two bathrooms has an exhaust fan that exhausts into the attic rather than up and out. We haven’t gotten any other estimates, and at this point being able to have one company do all of the work is also an added convenience. I'm just wondering if this is a reasonable estimate for this work.
