Is $2,500 to install 46 sq ft of Taj Mahal quartz countertops a fair price?

I am a new homeowner trying to remodel my kitchen on a $5,000 budget. I have already locked in a countertop company for Taj Mahal quartz. Now I am working with a contractor to repaint the cabinets and modernize their look without replacing everything. My cabinets have partial inset doors, and the contractor says hidden hinges won’t work. I am trying to figure out if these hinges can be modernized or hidden, or if they can be painted to match the cabinet color without looking cheap. I am also wondering if semi-concealed or low-profile hinges would work, or if there are other tips to make the cabinets look fresh without replacing all the doors. I plan to paint the cabinets a warm tan (soft beige) and the island sage green for a two-tone look. I just want them to look cleaner and more up to date without blowing the budget.
