Is $400 to remove and replace a 12 foot flex duct a fair price?
Project Details
My attic AC unit is 24 years old. The attic is hot, and the ductwork runs are long and inefficient, causing the air temperature to rise significantly by the time it reaches the front of the house. I'm planning on replacing the AC and updating the ductwork later this year or next, but I'm considering options for a temporary fix for a 12-foot section of flex duct.
