Is $595 to clean and perform a level 1 inspection on a gas fireplace chimney a fair price?
Project Details
I moved into a place with a gas fireplace and am unsure when the chimney was last cleaned. The fireplace is caked in sawdust from the renovations of the house. I plan on reaching out to other chimney specialists for quotes. I figure the seasonal thing also affects rates, or I could just wait until next summer. The price ranges I've received are wildly different.
