Is $5,800 to finish a 207 sqft shed interior with drywall a fair price?
Project Details
I'm considering if I should DIY this project, as I've never worked in drywalling and am not familiar with the price. I was thinking the cost would be around $2-3k. At this point, I'm considering paneling the walls since there's little to gain in R-value while DIYing the ceiling first. I plan to install a new AC window unit (my old one is on its last legs) and use this space as an office/exercise room. Overall, the space currently seems to insulate alright, being in north Texas. I think the DIY path may be the way to go here, but I have a smaller contractor coming today for a sanity check. I'm mainly interested in hiring professionals as my schedule is pretty tight right now, and having this space ready to use ASAP would make a huge difference.
