Is $18,000 to upgrade to Hardie board siding a fair price?
Project Details
My house got hit with hail damage really bad and the insurance is covering a full replacement. I’ve lived in this community for about 15 years now and this is the first time hail has caused damage thankfully. I was reading the FAQ page on Hardie's site and it said to clean the siding every 6-12 months and repaint 10-15. I also read some posts about having to recaulk joints. I'm concerned about being able to keep up with the maintenance.
