Is $9,000 to get custom interior French doors with a slight arch a fair price?
Project Details
I am trying to get custom-made interior French doors and the quotes I am getting are insane. I'm trying to get perspective on why or how I can lower the cost. Granted this is a high cost of living area, Bay Area California, but $9,000 seems an exorbitant price just for the doors. I am asking if this is normal and if there are any features I can adjust to bring the cost down. I also got quoted double for installation, but that doesn't bother me. I'm just dumbfounded at how much custom doors cost. I never knew.
