Is $5,000 to paint exterior trim a fair price?

We are having the exterior of our house painted because we hated the original lime green and aquamarine trim color, even though the original trim and siding were very well done. The trim now looks nice, but one of the painters splattered paint on the walls of the lower level. They said they would touch it up, but the color does not seem to match. This is how all four sides of the house look. I am wondering if this might even out over time and if this is typical. We have paid $2500 so far.
