Is $2,700 to replace a pool pump with a Pentair WhisperFlo VS a fair price?

My pool pump died, and I'm getting quotes to replace it. I have a 22,000-gallon pool with a spa. The quoted pump is completely different from my current 1.5 HP single-speed unit and a different brand. I'm waiting for more quotes, but this company does my pool opening/closing, so they're the ones who'll maintain it anyways. They are an authorized installer/dealer for the pump.
