Is $3,500 to replace pool cover a fair price?

I need to repair one of the wheels on my pool cover. The company came out and said they need to replace the entire cover. I'm asking if it looks like it needs to be replaced or if it can be repaired. It does have a minimal leak that I tried to patch but failed. The nylon wheels and sliders appear worn out. The cover came with the house and is most likely a Coverstar.
