Is $3,700 to install a new pool liner a fair price?
Project Details
I have adequate skills to perform tasks such as removing boards without damaging pipes, assembling/repairing PVC pipes, excavating for bracing boards, installing two layers of 1/2" waterproofed cement boards (screwed and mortared), finishing concrete smoothly, priming and painting concrete with pool paint, and framing/tiling stairs. My pool has been drained for a year, and I'm currently addressing an issue with animals roaming due to a lack of proper fencing. I'm considering a DIY concrete wall project as an alternative to the liner replacement, as the $3700 quote for the liner feels like a significant expense that I could potentially save by investing my own time.
