I'm looking for advice on this quote and exploring other options, specifically leaning towards an on-ground (sunken) pool because it doesn't require a permit and is less complicated for electrical bonding, as I am an electrician. I've seen kits for around $11,000 and have someone who can handle the excavation. I believe the $52,000 quote seemed a little high, even though I understand the work involved, having done electrical bonding for many pools myself. I'm inquiring about options and whether an on-ground versus in-ground pool is worth it.
