Is $100 to clear a pool skimmer line clog a fair price?

My local pool company charges $100 to clear a skimmer line that’s clogged. I’ve seen people talk about using shop vacs for clearing out their lines for winterizing. I don’t have that need locally, but would that work for clearing a clog? My local company used the 3 HP cyclone blower to clear the clog and it seemed to be pretty effective.
