Is $1,250 to install cricket flashing and repair roof around chimney a fair price?
Project Details
I have a really wide chimney, approximately 57 inches. The old flashing was incorrect and covered in mastic, which led to moisture wicking into my ceiling above the fireplace. My roof will be 20 years old next year, and the chimney area is the only issue with moisture/leaks that I can see. I don't currently have the $15,000+ budget for a new roof but wanted to prevent further damage to my ceiling. I plan to start saving for a new roof once my car is paid off next year.
