Is $2,000 to repair flashing between roof and dividing walls a fair price?

I am having my rear flat roof done, and the roofers I trust spotted the issue with the flashing between the roof and the dividing walls. It has completely come away from the tiles down the entire roof. Looking from inside the loft, there are gaps to the open air. We have had no known leak issues in 5 years. I am hoping to get a sense of how serious the issue is and whether the roofer's quote is fair.
