Is $1,800 to install 60 feet of aluminum drip edge to cover a builder's gap a fair price?
Project Details
I need to fix a builder's gap between my roof boards and fascia as it is a likely entrance for rodents into my attic. I already need to replace all of the insulation due to these rats. The previous homeowner seems to have covered up the problem by throwing new insulation over the droppings. I'm currently struggling financially and cannot afford the quoted price, but I'm worried about the ongoing damage. I tried to do it myself but the shingles are very hard to peel up and seem to be nailed and cemented down right at the edge.
