Is $17,000 to replace roof with Owens Corning Duration shingles a fair price?

I am finally getting a new roof. I live at 9600 feet, and the average year-round temperature is 32 degrees, with significant exposure to sun, wind, and snow. My current roof is 25 years old. I want a modern look but also want to enhance the charm of my Victorian-style house. I am considering Williamsburg gray, onyx black, or midnight plum for the shingles, and I'm concerned about onyx black fading due to extreme UV rays at my elevation. I was thinking of going with a matte black drip edge. I live in workforce housing in Breckenridge where the cost of living is atrocious; my first quote was 33k, and after multiple quotes, I settled with this 17k quote. Unfortunately, the Duration Designer series is more expensive and not included in my quote.
