Is $53,800 to replace garage beams, roof, and siding a fair price?

This is the worst of 4 garages in a 4 unit building. Originally I was requesting quotes from roofing and siding companies for a roof replacement and some siding and trim work. One of the people who came out to give a quote told us the garage beam needed to be replaced, not just the trim. So we went back to the other companies to get their opinions and updated quotes, but there’s been some disagreement over whether it’s a trim problem or a beam problem, and how urgent it is to get it replaced. I requested some quotes from general contractors today instead of just roofing and siding companies, but in the mean time… I don’t know what to do!
