Is $31,400 to install a 7.82 kW AC solar system with a Tesla Powerwall 3 a fair price?
Project Details
My annual usage is about 10 kWh, so the quotes are just under or just over that amount. I might have a little shade in some seasons, so the Enphase micros are nice, but I'm wondering if they are worth the extra cost. My usage is pretty low already, as conservation is way cheaper than solar, and I hope to keep lowering my usage as I seal the house better. I like the larger system for less money, as much as I do like Enphase's concept. My wife likes the idea of backup power in a storm or blackout. So we are likely to do something soon.
