Is $23,098 to install a 10.12 kW solar system a fair price?
Project Details
I was quoted for a 10.12 kW solar system with 22 REC Alpha 460W panels. The quote is for 0% down at 4.99% financing for 10 years, but I plan on paying it off early. I also considered paying cash, but they didn't provide a cash quote initially. I later confirmed there's no difference between financing and cash purchase. The consultant mentioned they upped the price because they will guarantee the 30% cash incentive if they are unable to complete the project before Dec 31, 2025.
