Is $9,075 to add 8 REC Alpha Pure-RX solar panels a fair price?

I am adding 8 more panels to my current system to get the credit while I can. My current system uses REC panels and I've liked the company from personal use and everything I've read. I'm afraid with the current firestorm looking to get panels I will be paying a premium. I'm also wondering if REC is worth the extra $600 and if their larger company size is a factor in decision making.
