Is $37,000 to buy a 14.08 kW solar system a fair price?
Project Details
I am new to solar and trying to decide between buying and leasing. I noticed a significant difference in the inverter count between the two options. I believe my annual federal tax burden is sufficient to receive the full 30% tax credit for the purchase option, which I expect to get back in early 2026. I am not planning to include batteries with the system. I have no mortgage or other loans and have never leased a car, which makes me lean towards buying.
