Is $30,000 to install a solar panel system a fair price?

I got a quote for a solar panel system. My house is brand new and the roof is brand new. I'm wondering if it's worth it to get solar, especially since I know the federal credit is expiring soon. I'm also asking if they will really check if I have it paid for by 2025 end of year.
