Is $275 to recaulk windows a fair price?
Project Details
I am in Brooklyn, NYC, and my contractor, who is currently redoing the stucco and repainting the exterior of my two-family house, quoted me $275 per window to recaulk them. This price seems high to me, as my research suggests a range of $50-100 per window. The windows are at least 20 years old and definitely need the work. I'm not committed to this quote yet and am seeking opinions on whether this pricing is reasonable, especially since his guys are already on site for other work.
