I am considering a DIY installation of three mulled windows in my master bedroom, as the Home Depot quote of $4100 seems high. My house was built in 1968, and the current windows are original. I'm looking for advice on how the old windows are attached, how to order factory-mulled windows from Home Depot, and general tips for a first-time installer. I'm confident in my abilities but have no prior experience with window installation. The Home Depot professional gave us a price match guarantee and assured us this was the best price.
