Is $26,000 to replace a shower and vanity in a bathroom a fair price?

Project Details

I just got this quote, and it's the first of 4-5 I am seeking. I am shopping big name brands as well as local contractors. The company would not touch drywall, even when I asked about an access panel from the closet. My significant other may have told the sales representative that I was desperate to get this done. The initial offer was $35,000, but it was reduced to $26,000 if I signed right away.
