
Is $6,000 to install shower glass with transom and 1/2 inch glass a fair price?

I've had 5 different glass bids for a shower enclosure and I'm confused by the conflicting advice on glass thickness and stability. We are not going to the ceiling, just planning on the height of the shower head. Located in Texas.
