Is $12,300 to replace garage roof a fair price?

Project Details

I'm in Eastern PA and looking for input on a patio/garage roof replacement project. I have a small 10’x20’ patio above my garage, surfaced with flagstone, which we use frequently. It's important to me to keep the flagstone look consistent with other hardscaping. The garage roof has been leaking since I bought the house a few years ago, and I'm now ready to fix it properly. I've had four companies out; three either declined, gave vague estimates, or would only do part of the job. The detailed quote I'm considering includes a pedestal system, which is appealing for drainage and reduced roof stress, but the cost was a shock.
