Is $850 to deliver and install prebuilt 5-step stairs with stoop a fair price?

I'm purchasing a prebuilt 5-step stair unit with a small stoop/landing for $479.99 from a local supplier. I'm trying to surprise my boyfriend and get his steps done for him, as he does so much and this is the last thing he needs to be dealing with. I'm not asking for painting or custom work. I'm trying to make sure I'm not being taken advantage of, as contractors can sometimes price gouge and do half jobs with cheap materials. I was expecting labor to be closer to $300-$400 max.
