Is $1,000 to contribute half the cost for a shared property line fence a fair price?
Project Details
I own a home built into a hill with a steep, undeveloped back yard that is currently rented out. My neighbor, who has been difficult in the past with noise and littering, wants to replace a wire fence with a new one. I currently have no use for the fence as the yard is not a usable space and I do not live there, but I am considering contributing to maintain the relationship.
