Is $1,500 to install engineered hardwood flooring (45m2) a fair price?
Project Details
My husband and I are in the process of buying our first (and forever) home, and are looking at flooring options. For the downstairs area, we want something that's easy to clean, durable, and warm, so we are opting for wood flooring (except for the kitchen, as we are concerned about water/humidity). We currently have no kids or pets, but plan to have both, and we live in Ireland, so weather is quite wet and humid. We also considered bamboo flooring, but it seems more subject to humidity and cost wouldn't be much cheaper than solid wood. We don't really know what to do as opinions for any option are very mixed.
