Is $6,000 to install 1200 sqft of epoxy flooring with polyurethane top coat a fair price?
Project Details
I paid a $3000 deposit for this job. The floor bubbled after the first coat was laid, throughout the entire 1200 sqft area, before the top coat was applied. The contractor is currently laying the top coat, but I'm concerned it won't look right due to the existing defects. I suspect the floor was not prepped correctly, and I might need to have it grinded back down and re-laid. I'm trying to negotiate the payment down as low as I can, as I feel like I'm going to be out quite a bit for what I hoped would be an easy project.
