Is $5,000 to install LVP flooring a fair price?
Project Details
I live in a 1980s home with concrete subfloors and no basement. The current flooring is original linoleum, with some incorrectly installed laminate and parquet in the foyer. The bathrooms and hallway have tile, and the bedrooms/living room have carpet which I plan to keep. My husband and I cannot afford real hardwood and are concerned about the high cost of tile installation, which I've read is $15-20/sq foot. I am not rich and don't plan to live here forever. I am not set on LVP and am considering engineered hardwood, but I'm worried about using it in the kitchen.
