Is $20,000 to install 1,700 sqft of LVP flooring a fair price?
Project Details
I am considering doing LVP flooring myself for my 2250 sqft home, which has about 1700 sqft of flooring to install. I'm concerned about potential subfloor damage in the kitchen and an uneven "bump" in the walkway. If I DIY, materials would cost around $7-9k, specifically looking at Lifeproof 20 or 30 mil. I've received professional quotes ranging from $20-24k. Saving almost $14k seems like a no-brainer, but I've never done a project of this size before.
