Is $6,000 to recarpet ~330 square feet in basement a fair price?
Project Details
We are first time home owners doing some fixing up on our newly purchased home. I just got a quote from a flooring place and the sticker shock is real. I was anticipating something like $3500 when it was all said and done, but the quote came in at $6,000. I did LVP on the main floor previously for about $1800 (product and labor) and am surprised by the difference in cost for this carpet project. I’m going to keep shopping around for more quotes.
